How much is it going to cost to get your help?
Nothing. Zero. Ok... well it might cost you a little time, as we might ask you to provide a picture and a story for our Happy Travelers section, but outside of that our services are FREE! We do not even add an up-charge to airline reservations!
Are you going to share my information, and with who?
During the initial request and reservation process, we will collect personal information from you (such as your email address, phone number, etc.) You will never be asked to provide confidential information over the internet. We will only share the necessary information with the travel operator you are booking with. Financial information such as credit cards will be collected from you over the phone, with a one-time authorization or multi-use document kept on file. We will not keep the credit card information after a transaction is completed. We do this to help protect your accounts from fraudulent use, should we experience a breach.
I can do this on my own, so why should I work with a travel agent?
We are independent contractors of Travel Quest, and through them are certified members of IATA (International Air Transport Association). Travel Quests standing and validity may also be verified with all travel and tour operators with which we book. We are Travel Specialists! That's the fancy way of saying we are good at what we do.
We've got real experience and can share how to beat the crowds, ways to save money, what to expect for weather at the time of year you’ll be visiting, and how to enjoy your vacation in spite of it. We’ll customize information and suggestions for your traveling party, no matter the age range. We have visited the destinations not just once, but many times and can help you select the best lodging and the options for your trip. We can give you recommendations on dining, entertainment, nightlife, shopping, sight-seeing and transportation. Our in-person experience and extensive knowledge, that we can apply when helping you plan, can make all the difference. You don't have to be the one spending hours on-line or holding on the phone - let us start out your vacation with 'worry-free'!
How do I get all the discounts I read about on the internet?
Our first priority is to help you get your vacation at the best price possible. As authorized travel agents, we have access to all of the published and well-known discounts, including Disney's Annual Passholder, Disney Visa Cardholders, AAA, and many others.
We also keep on top of lesser known or unpublished discounts to help save you money. If any better deals become available, we will automatically rebook and/or apply any discounts for which you are eligible. We will be sure to let you know if this happens, so that you are always aware of the pricing for your vacation.
Sooo.... I need to make some changes, or worse yet cancel my trip! What are your policies?
We never do know when forces of nature, or for that matter, the up’s and down’s of life may impact our best laid plans. The last thing anyone wants is to be forced to make changes or cancel a trip. It does happen however! At the time of booking your travel planner will review with you any rules and/or penalties that may apply regarding reservation changes or cancellations. We will work to help you minimize any costs and explain what your options are should you find yourself in a position requiring a change or cancellation.
What if I have problems while on my vacation, who can you help me?
When we first started out, our goal was to be the difference between an average travel agency that just does the booking and leaves the client to figuring out all the details; or be the full-service agency that covers all the details FOR the client. Our travel planners are committed to checking in before, during, and after your trip to be sure you have all the necessary information. Keep your travel planners contact information close as we want you to contact us should a problem arise while traveling. We are always concerned that our clients have the best vacation experience possible!
We have special needs, can you help with that?
The travel industry is well versed in handling special needs. Most tour operators have systems in place to help guests with everything from dietary needs to helping guests with disabilities. We can help make sure that your destination is aware of any special room requests; we can provide information on dietary needs to restaurants; and help secure rental ECV's and other aides. Be sure to inform your travel planner of your special needs and we will help make your arrangements. It is our goal to ensure you will have a worry-free vacation.
Our trip is for a special celebration, what can you do to help us make our trip memorable?
We are all about celebration whether it's a first birthday, a wedding, or reunion - we will help you celebrate your special occasion on any vacation. We can help arrange the extra touches that make your special occasion memorable. Many destinations love recognizing guests who are celebrating special occasions with them by offering many perks and extras to make your vacation unforgettable. So, if you have an event you want to celebrate, be sure to let us know!
How are payments handled?
We start with the minimum deposit required by the tour operator. Reservations will be made in your name directly with the operator. The normal reservations rules, including payment and changes/cancellation policies, will apply. We will always review with you all the information regarding your reservation including any deposits required, payment terms, due dates, and final payment requirements.
